Primitive Watercolor Art

I haven’t completed many paintings because my efforts have gone into other crafts. Then one weekend, bored & doodling on a yellow legal pad I sketched the small vase of flowers that was on our table. Pleasantly surprised at the result, I bought some artist watercolor paper & repeated the same sketch. I painted it with my son's watercolor set & liked it enough to complete others, some of which are on this page. But I still find them hard to do. Quilting is so easy. You have a pattern and follow it. A painting is completely my design and sometimes the design refuses to look like what's in my mind. I look forward to discovering better techniques and creating more paintings.
